The nearest airport is Stornoway Airport, 50 miles away.  Loganair operaterate fligths seven days a week to Stornoway from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness.

There are connecting flights to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness from the rest of the world.

                  By Sea

There are three ports of entry to take you to the Isle of Harris with ferries operated by Caledonian MacBrayne, travelling seven days a week between:

 

• Uig, Isle of Skye to Tarbert, Isle of Harris

• Ullapool on the north-west coast mainland to Stornoway, Isle of Lewis

• Berneray, in the Sound of Harris to Leverburgh, Isle of Harris

 

Your car  can be taken on board all three ferries  but you will need to book in well in advance, particularly during Easter and the summer months.
